crossfit rookie--Journey for JessiI finally tried crossfit… and I really really like it.  I have only been to three one-on-one sessions, but so far, I get an amazing workout every time.  It definitely is not for the weak minded… I find myself pushing hard and testing my limits of what I can do versus what my mind says I can do.  The following are some of my beginning workouts or WoD (workout of the day).

crossfit rookie--Journey for Jessi5 Rounds:

♦ 50 calorie row/1000 meters

♦ 20 ball slams (30lbs)

♦ 400 meter run

5 Rounds:

♦ 12 sit-ups

♦ 40 jump rope

♦ 20 weighted lunges (20lbs)

crossfit rookie--Journey for JessiAMRAP (as many rounds as possible) 12 minutes:

♦ 8 box jumps

♦ 7 ball walls (12 lbs)

♦ 6 pull-ups (assisted)

Other Combos:

♦ squats

♦ kettle bell swings

♦ ball slams

♦ ring rows

♦ plank
