It’s crazy to think about how much has changed these last few weeks/days/hours. The world is a very different place. I am taking this time to get back to doing everything I love that I have been missing like personal training and blogging. I am posting workouts to my instagram that can be done with minimal equipment and include modifications to movement and equipment. I will be posting those videos here as well for you all.
There is so much to catch up on this blog, but I will slowing start updating things and find my ground again as I start posting again.

summer of wellnesss
My oh my, where has the summer gone? It’s officially fall here in Colorado. The weather has been cooler, a slight breeze to the air, and sweater and boot season is upon us. I am happy fall is here. For me, seasons are a time of change and renewal. Fall for me is a time when I start to calm down, slow down and streamline a lot of the business in my life. Continue reading
train it tuesday trx & squats
This week’s work out includes the use of a TRX suspension system, or you can use gymnastics rings. You need some kind of suspension for rows or ring rows, where you hold on to the grips and pull your body up to the grips/handles/rings. It’s always a bonus to add a second pause at the top of the pull. Try it for yourself!

the open ended| crossfit
The 2018 CrossFit Open ended. I did each workout as prescribed, meaning I lifted amounts of weight as written, and followed all the rules on burpees, handstand push-ups etc. Each year, I can compare fitness to others around the world and see my ranking over the years. I was a little disheartened at first to learn that I did worse than last year, according to my ranking. Continue reading
