Cheers!  Today marks two week into my Whole30.  Yes, I am still rocking and rolling along.  I stopped the everyday updates.  The days started running together and there wasn’t much to update daily.  So here I am.  I do have a few tips and tricks I have learned along the way to make things go a bit more smooth during this journey. day nineteen | bacon egg breakfast cups

day nineteen | bacon egg breakfast cupsRemember me raving about meal prep day yesterday?  Well here is one of those recipes that is totally saving me this week, Bacon Egg Breakfast Cups.  It was my first day back to classes after winter break and my schedule was hectic all day.  The only solace I had was knowing that on my hour meal breaks that I already had some delicious food waiting for me at home.   Continue reading

paleo challenge

paleo challenge | Journey for JessiFor 2016, I am honing in my diet.  For years I have struggled with body image and my relationship with food, but last year I managed to finally make peace with myself and food.  I can honestly say that I love myself and fully appreciate my body now.  Coming to terms and realizing self love did wonders to my relationship with food.  Instead of fearing food and restricting, I wanted to feed and nourish the body that I have grown to love.   Continue reading
