In case you missed it last night on my snapchat (@emvalerioti), I made my first video recipe: Shrimp Tacos for Cinco de Mayo! It’s definitely janky being my first video, and it was recorded on my snap and not a high end camera… BUT it was über fun to make! I enjoyed it and I got fabulous feedback from everyone, so thanks y’all! Here are the snips compiled together with the recipe below!
Cinco de Mayo Shrimp Tacos
Ingredients:
- 1 bag cooked shrimp
- 1 tbsp guacamole, per taco
- 1 head leaf lettuce
- 1 tomato
- 1 lime
- cayenne pepper, to taste
- red pepper flakes, to taste
- salt, a pinch
- hot sauce, to taste
- cilantro, few fresh sprigs
- sprouted corn tortillas
- Heat a skillet and toss in cooked shrimp to heat up and remove from heat to prevent overcooking.
- Juice half a lime onto the shrimp and add cayenne, pepper flakes and salt.
- Dice tomato.
- Shred lettuce.
- Heat up corn tortillas.
- Assemble tacos with guacamole, lettuce, tomato and tail-off shrimp.
- Top with more lime juice, hot sauce and cilantro.
